Birmingham-Southern College partnered with Imagine No Malaria, a national campaign of United Methodist churches and colleges with the ambitious goal of eradicating the preventable disease in Africa by 2015. Full Story


The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations have awarded Centre College a $200,000 grant to support initiatives that enrich the experience of the College’s first-generation college students. Full Story


The Hendrix College Biochemistry/Molecular Biology (BCMB) program has been accredited by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) for a full seven-year term (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2021).  Full Story


Southwestern University has received two grants totaling $2 million from The Brown Foundation, Inc. of Houston. Both grants will be used for construction of the university’s new science center. Full Story


Spelman College announced that it has exceeded its comprehensive fundraising campaign goal, generating $157.8 million. This is the largest amount raised in the history of the institution. The campaign attracted support for scholarships, academic initiatives, and campus renewal. Full Story


Students at the University of Richmond created technology-based solutions for cognitive challenges. Their work focused on investigating how technology can help people with developmental disabilities navigate the world around them. Full Story
